Theme: Thinking critically about your role in online communication to identify, prevent and respond to online bullying.
This micro-learn can be used either in small groups, as a large group with a facilitator, or individually.
At the end of the micro-learn, learners will be able to:
- Describe the differences between online and in-person bullying.
- Classify online situations as examples of bullying or banter, and explain what to do if they cross that line accidentally.
- Give examples of ways to disagree respectfully online, and act as an upstander online.
- Use B.I.R.D.S. to explain tools to respond to online bullying.
