Theme: Exploring how altered images can affect wellbeing
This micro-learn can be used either in small groups, as a large group with a facilitator, or individually.
At the end of the micro-learn, learners will be able to:
- Describe the positive aspects of altered images
- Recognise the negative impacts of altered images on wellbeing and body image
- Reflect on how images reinforce unrealistic cultural ideals and social norms
- Recognise if an image has been altered
- Implement strategies to minimise impact and share this issue with others
