Unlock the future and upskill your students to use generative AI tools. This training from Netsafe, sponsored by Microsoft and with support from Cyberlite, introduces students to the basics of what generative AI is and the critical thinking skills required to use it effectively and responsibly.
Once your students finish this learning, they will be able to:
- Explain how generative AI works and the role these tools can play in their lives.
- Describe key considerations when interpreting generative AI output.
- Apply prompt engineering practices to achieve a desired outcome.
There are three parts to this learning:
- Theory micro-learn: Preparing to use Generative AI safely and responsibly
- Case study micro-learn: Mere's Antarctic Mission Exercise
- Worksheet: Student Generative AI Research Project
It’s recommended that students work through each part of this training in order. Progress will not be saved, so before navigating away from the page please make a note of where you were up to.
